In 2 Cor 8 & 9 Paul encouraged us through the grace of God, to excel in the grace of giving by expressing our faith through acts of generosity.
I challenge you, as I paraphrase James 1 to no longer be deceived by only being hearers of the word but be blessed by putting the word of God into action regarding the faithful attitude and action of generosity.
Review these 4 questions below and allow for this to serve as a faithful challenge to demonstrate generosity to the glory of God!
1. Will you exercise your ability to give when you are not in a place of abundance?
2. Will you sow generously of your time, talents and resources believing that God will bless the sower? 3. Will you trust God that he will make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work? 4. Will you advance God's kingdom blessings through faith so that all people will praise God for your obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ?
