What we believe

Endurance Church is a dynamic, growing family of Christ-followers united in the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re humbled that God has placed us in Tempe to join Jesus as He works in and through the lives of His people. Our mission is to be a highly effective, relevant, life-changing church. As in God’s Word, we’re called to equip the body of Christ, raise up leaders, and serve and love people.

ECV is a multigenerational, multiethnic biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others and transform the world by serving our city as we believe Jesus desires. YOU are the reason we’re here. OUR CHURCH seeks to be a comfortable place for those who are curious about God, but who sometimes don’t feel comfortable in church. We hope this is where you can learn about who God is, and what He wants for your life.

It’s OK if you don’t have it all figured out yet. This is the place where you can learn, apply and wrestle with who God is. We believe that church is an organized, living organism. We follow Jesus – it’s that simple. We live life together. We serve our community and one another. At ECV we are a diverse family of believers united by our common relationship with Jesus Christ. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, we invite you to connect with our community. You won’t find perfect people here. But you will discover excited and thriving groups bound together by a common purpose—to see Jesus change lives and our city.

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 22:37-39
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
